Business Improvement Schemes

The HTA Business Improvement Schemes since their establishment have assisted over 500 businesses and their staff to improve their performance, innovate and develop opportunities.

BIS

Since their establishment, the Business Improvement Schemes have assisted businesses and their staff to improve performance and to innovate and develop opportunities by tapping into and sharing knowledge and experience of what really works and why.

There are five schemes under the BIS umbrella each of which are individually tailored to meet the requirements of the different sectors of the horticultural industry:

• Retail Business Improvement Scheme (RBIS)
• Landscape Business Improvement Scheme (LBIS)
• Catering Business Improvement Scheme (CBIS)
• Nursery Business Improvement Scheme (NBIS)
• Retail Development Forum (RDF)

Each of the Scheme areas are supported by the BIS Scheme Performance Management System (SPMS is the BIS online benchmarking tool).
