Specialist Groups

An Introduction to the Specialist Groups under the HTA umbrella

The HTA is pleased to be able to facilitate, under the HTA umbrella, a number of industry associations. These include:

The HTA Cash and Carry Group (C&C)
The HTA Seeds and Distance Selling Group (SeeDS)
The HTA Seasonal Plants Group
The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL)
The British Conifer Group (BCG)
The Growing Media Association (GMA)
The HTA British Rose Group (BRG)
The HTA Tree and Hedging Group (THG)
The Association of Liner Producers (ALP)
The John Innes Manufacturers Association (JIMA)
The British Heather Growers Association (BHGA)



The HTA provides executive support for all the groups, co-ordinating PR, marketing and technical events and activities as well as member communications. Members of specialist groups do not pay a premium beyond their HTA membership and therefore enjoy a high level of support through both the HTA and their particular representative group. The HTA also administers the Midland Regional Growers (MRG) group.
