The HTA Seasonal Plants Group
The HTA's latest specialist group was launched in January 2010 at the request of some of the largest and most influential producers of bedding and seasonal plants in the UK.Designed to acquire market research, marketing and business support for the sector members meet approximately three times a year and hold the annual Bedding Focus Conference in October which considers the issues facing the industry.
The group includes most UK seed and young plant companies as well as national and regional producers of finished plants.
If you produce bedding or seasonal plants in plugs, packs, pots, baskets or containers and supply local independent retailers or national multiples then this exciting new group has something to offer you.

Representatives of the HTA Bedding Plant Group were invited to attend a meeting with The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic to discuss ways in which Local Authorities could reflect the London 2012 colours in bedding, basket and container planting schemes in 2012. - Growers and retailers of bedding plants, and of course customers, have been severely affected by Impatiens Downy Mildew this year. We are supporting the HDC who have planned an event on 26 October 2011 at Stoneleigh Park for growers and retailers to hear about the latest research and to agree an industry-wide approach to tackling the problem and communicating with the gardening public.
