This Group was set up at the end of 2010 for members running bespoke Cash & Carry (C&C) operations.
It meets twice a year and is developing a range of HTA support activities to meet the specific needs of this sector. Meetings are held on members' C&C sites, allowing time for conducted tours.
Terms and conditions of sale have been agreed for the first time. Members have begun to submit their monthly sales figures to the HTA, in strict confidence, to begin a benchmarking exercise.
Plans are underway to identify the C&C customer base and to understand their perceptions and needs.
